RECOGNITION

The Bonfield Public Library recognizes the financial contribution which agencies have given to reflect the needs of our patrons. Through the generosity of our donors, we help ensure that knowledge, information and programs enhance our innovative services. Funds raised do not replace the Library’s core funding, but augment collections, equipment, programs and services which may better serve our community.

To our primary funding body, the Township of Bonfield, for their generous support and cooperation so that we may provide our community the best experience a public library can offer.

We acknowledge the support of the Government of Ontario for recognizing and addressing emerging issues facing public libraries.

The Friends of the Bonfield Library provide generous ongoing support which provides lifelong learning, fosters literacy, and innovative community services. Their support and hard work over the years have been truly amazing and we value their volunteer efforts tremendously.

The Ontario Trillium Foundations contribution to the improvement of our services is a positive impact to our community. We are grateful for the Foundation’s commitment and support in building a healthy and vibrant community.

We acknowledge the efforts of SOLS and OLS North for their contribution and collaboration in administering funding for Ontario Public Libraries.

Thanks to the partnership with Service Ontario, the residents of Bonfield Township can find a range of services from applying for a birth certificate to registering their business online right here at our local library.

The District of Nipissing Social Service Administration Board (DNSSAB) works to provide human services and help people out. We wish to thank DNSSAB for their financial contribution in helping individuals from Bonfield Township find employment by subsidizing their copying charges.

The Bonfield Public Library Homesteader Program is made possible with the financial aid of Frank Cowan and Company Home Town Program. Their gift has been instrumental in helping us provide educational and recreational programs and lifelong learning opportunities for our community. This improves the safety and quality of life in our hometown. It is a pleasure to strengthen our community together.

The Bonfield Public Library acknowledges the support and cooperation of many generous community organizations such as the Bonfield Lions Club, the Golden Age Club and individuals in addition to the aforementioned. Their efforts to enhance our quality of life, affirm our sense of community and spirit of optimism and discovery through educational, informational, recreational and cultural opportunities is grateful appreciated.

Thank you to Storme Van Rassel and Jim McCutcheon for their financial support in purchasing Children Books for the Bonfield Public Library in memoriam of Greg Boxwell, a dedicated Library Board Member.
